protect our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties (e.g., protection of persons and property, detection of perpetrators of criminal offenses, and prevention of criminal offenses);

Who is the Data Controller?
The data controller is a legal or natural person who determines and controls the purposes and means of processing personal data in paper and electronic form. The data controller of personal data is LuVano Homes, a real estate mediation business, headquartered in Rijeka, Zagrebačka 3, OIB: 07817750611, hereinafter referred to as the 'Data Controller'. The Data Controller is based on the applicable regulations on data protection, specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter: General Regulation), the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (NN 42/2018), and other regulations.
Which Personal Data Will Be Collected?
We will collect and process various types of personal data, such as your basic personal data (e.g., name and surname, address, gender, date of birth, OIB, bank account number), your contact data (address, email, phone number, etc.), data about your properties (parcel number, land registry entry, cadastral municipality, etc.), all to conclude a contract for purchase/sale/rent/lease, business cooperation contract, etc.
How Will We Collect Your Personal Data?
We will collect personal data as specified below:
directly from you (by entering data in forms on our website, filling out our forms and contracts when establishing a business relationship with you, your inquiries about properties we advertise)
by reviewing public registers maintained in the Republic of Croatia (Land Registry, Cadastre, Court Register, Registers of Fine, Crafts Register, etc.),
by communication from our contractual partners or third parties.
What is the Purpose of Collecting Your Personal Data?
Your personal data is collected for the purposes of:
fulfilling contractual obligations arising from our core activities (mediation in real estate purchase and sale and mediation in real estate rental/lease)

For the conclusion of contracts, explicit consent is not required.
To comply with legal obligations (Value Added Tax Act, Audit Act, Cash Transactions Fiscalization Act), explicit consent is not required.
For legitimate interests (such as preventing and detecting fraud, ensuring network and information security of our IT systems, internal analysis and reporting, etc.), explicit consent is not required.
For delivering marketing materials, explicit consent is required.
As stated above, and for the purposes mentioned above, we will process your personal data that we receive from you. We inform you that when processing your personal data is based on our legitimate interests or for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object.
Furthermore, you can withdraw your consent at any time by providing a statement sent via email or mail to the contacts listed in point 11. The consequence of refusing to provide personal data or providing incorrect data may be the inability to establish a business relationship with you, or the inability to conclude a contract, due to the consequent inability to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations.

We will ensure the processing of your personal data in a manner that is consistent with the purpose of processing. If it is necessary to fulfill the stated purpose, access to your data may have:
state authorities in accordance with legal obligations (e.g., Tax Administration, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Interior, judicial and other state authorities)
If it is necessary to fulfill a specific purpose, your personal data may be disclosed to the following persons:

accessing your personal data and obtaining information about the source of personal data, the purpose of processing and the duration of processing, categories of personal data, the anticipated period for which personal data will be stored, information about the data controller, processors, and recipients to whom personal data may be disclosed,
withdrawing the given consent at any time if your data is processed based on the given consent,
correcting or updating your data to ensure they are always accurate,
deleting your personal data if they are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were processed,
restricting the processing of your personal data in certain cases, such as when you dispute the accuracy of your personal data, during the period required to verify the accuracy of the data,
transferring your personal data in electronic form, i.e., receiving personal data and/or directly transferring them to another data controller, and
filing a complaint with us and/or the competent supervisory authority (Agency for Personal Data Protection, azop@azop.hr).
You can exercise these rights through a request form or by contacting us as described in point 11. The request form is available on the business's website.
How Can I Object to the Processing of My Personal Data?
When permitted by applicable regulations, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data, or request that we stop processing your personal data. After you inform us of this request, we will no longer process your data, unless the processing is permitted by applicable regulations.

How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data?
We retain your personal data in accordance with the deadlines specified by the Accounting Act, the Value Added Tax Act, and other laws applicable to our business.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
The real estate broker must ensure and renew liability insurance with an insurer in the Republic of Croatia for any damage that the principal or third parties might suffer from performing brokerage services.
For damages that the broker might cause by performing brokerage, the minimum insured amount cannot be less than HRK 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand kuna) per one damage event, or HRK 600,000.00 (six hundred thousand kuna) for all claims in one insurance year.
The broker may also be insured with an insurer in a member state of the European Union and the European Economic Area.
